Gavar Sabji Cluster beans(Kothamarakka) cooked in garlic and chilly masala 250 gm Cluster beans (cut into 1/2 " pieces, Kothamarakka)1 no Onion (chopped)1 no Tomato (chopped)2 nos Green chillies (cut into small pieces)7 - Garlic pods (chopped)1 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Cumin powder (Jeerakam)1 tbsp Coriander powderSalt (As reqd)2 tsp Coriander leaves (chopped) Cook gavar in a pan with 1/4 cup of water, till tender.Heat oil in a pan.Fry the garlic and onion, till they turn golden brown in colour.Add tomatoes and chillies and saute for 2 mins.Add the gavar and masala powders and continue to cook over a low flame stirring from time to time.Cook for 5 mins, till its well blended and the preparation is dry.Garnish with coriander leaves.:-Serve hot with chappathis or rice.
