Grind together garlic, chillies and cumin seeds.
:- Do not fry garlic/jeera/red chillies.
Just grind them raw.
Heat a little oil in a pan for frying.
:- Do not add too much oil as for deep frying.
Add the potato cubes to the pan and turn them over for a few times so that the oil gets all over the pieces and leave them on medium flame.
:- Don`t stir them too often. Leave it till they become light brown and crispy. This way u can make them crispy with out deep frying.
Add salt and the paste of spices.
Turn them over and over again so that they get mixed well.
:- Serve with rice as a side dish.
Rasam will be a very good combination for this.
