Heat 2 tsp of oil in a kadai or a pan.
Add onion, red chillies and coriander seeds and fry, till the onion starts becoming transparent.
Add the cut tomatoes and asafoetida to this and fry, till the raw smell of tomato is gone.
:- It takes around 10 mins.
Switch off the gas and let the mixture cool.
Grind this with salt and coriander leaves.
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter mustard seeds.
Add the curry leaves and fry for 10 seconds.
Add the ground chutney and heat it for a min.
Keep mixing it well and switch off the gas.
:- Serve with dosa or idly.
