Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Basmati Rice
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1.5 cup Carrot, Beans, Tomato chopped
  • 1/4 cup Green peas cooked
  • 1 no Onion Big
  • 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 4 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Ghee or oil
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tbsp Cashewnuts
  • 1 tbsp Raisins Onakka munthiri

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Fry cashews and raisins and keep aside.
  • In the same ghee, splutter cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and crushed green chillies.
  • Add onion and saute.
  • Add vegetables and saute.
  • Add rice and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add 4 cups of water and salt. Keep closed and cook on low flame.
  • Garnish with fried cashews and raisins.
  • :- This pulao smells and tastes better after 5-6 hours.
