Baked Fish Easy

Indian style baked fish

Ingredients
  

  • 2 - Tilapia fillet
  • 2 cups Red onions chopped
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 2 nos Ripe tomatoes finely chopped, large
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 - Chilly powder
  • Pepper powder As reqd
  • Lemon juice As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 - Olive oil
  • Garlic ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped

Instructions
 

  • Clean and place the Tilapia fillet in one layer in a baking dish.
  • Season with salt and pepper powder.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan.
  • Saute the onions and green chillies, until they turn translucent.
  • Add coriander powder, chilly powder, a pinch of pepper powder and ginger-garlic paste and saute, until the oil separates.
  • Add the tomatoes and stir well on low fire, until the mixture is soft and pulpy.
  • Remove from the flame.
  • Add lemon juice and salt.
  • Take the mixture in the saucepan and spread it evenly over the fish so as to cover the fish well.
  • Bake the fish in an oven at about 300 degrees for about 20 mins or just until the fish can be flaked with a butter knife.
  • :- Serve with vegetable pulao or bread/rotis or just grilled vegetables.
