Baked Fish Easy Indian style baked fish 2 - Tilapia fillet2 cups Red onions (chopped)2 nos Green chillies (chopped)2 nos Ripe tomatoes (finely chopped, large)1 tsp Coriander powder1 - Chilly powderPepper powder (As reqd)Lemon juice (As reqd)Salt (As reqd)1 - Olive oilGarlic (ginger paste - 1/2 tsp)2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped) Clean and place the Tilapia fillet in one layer in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper powder.Heat oil in a saucepan. Saute the onions and green chillies, until they turn translucent.Add coriander powder, chilly powder, a pinch of pepper powder and ginger-garlic paste and saute, until the oil separates.Add the tomatoes and stir well on low fire, until the mixture is soft and pulpy. Remove from the flame.Add lemon juice and salt.Take the mixture in the saucepan and spread it evenly over the fish so as to cover the fish well.Bake the fish in an oven at about 300 degrees for about 20 mins or just until the fish can be flaked with a butter knife.:- Serve with vegetable pulao or bread/rotis or just grilled vegetables.
