Paruppu Vadai

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Bengal gram soaked for 3 hrs and drained for 1 hr, Kadalaparippu
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 6 nos Pearl onions chopped, Kunjulli
  • 1/4" piece Ginger chopped
  • 1 - Green chiliies chopped
  • 10 nos Curry leaves chopped
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Grind 1 3/4 cup of Bengal gram in a mixer grinder into a coarse form.
  • Add the remaining 1/4 cup of dal to the ground dal along with all the other ingredients(except oil) and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Make balls off the dough and flatten them into the shapes of vadas.
  • Fry, till Paruppu Vadais turn brown.
  • Paruppu Vadai is ready.
