Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds, Bengal gram and cumin seeds.
When they splutter, add curry leaves, onion and red chillies and saute for 2 mins.
Add tomato and saute again for 2 mins, until it gets mashed.
Add turmeric powder followed by water and salt.
Allow it to boil.
When it boils, add vermicelli and allow it to boil for 2 mins.
Add rava and mix well.
Allow it to boil for 1 min.
When all the excess water drains and it comes to the stage (like upma), turn off the flame.
Add coriander leaves and ghee and mix well.
