Mutter Paneer

1 cup Paneer cubes 2 cups Green peas Soaked overnight and cooked, or fresh green peas 3 tbsp Tomato ketchup Salt As reqd 4 tbsp Yoghurt 1 tsp Ginger paste 1 tsp Garlic paste 2 tbsp Oil For onion paste: 2 nos Onions Sliced, medium 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam 1 stick Cinnamon(small stick) Karugapatta 2 nos Cloves Grambu 2 nos Green chillies 2 nos. Pepper corns 2 tsp Coriander powder 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder 3 tbsp Oil
Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.
Fry the ingredients for the onion paste for a min or two.
Grind the above into a paste and keep aside.
Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp of oil in the pan.
Add the ginger and garlic paste.
Add the onion paste.
Add tomato ketchup and fry for a little while.
Add salt and yogurt and let it simmer for a few mins.
Add green peas and paneer.
Garnish with garam masala and freshly chopped coriander leaves.
