Instructions
Clean and cut the brinjals into thin round shapes.
Make a paste with chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida and water.
Marinate the brinjals in the above paste for 1/2 an hour.
Deep fry the brinjals in oil.
Cook on both sides, till light brown.
:- Instead of brinjals, potatoes could be used.
