chopped and boiled, until soft and translucent and then ground to a paste

Tomato puree
cook the tomatoes and mash it

Double cream
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the ginger and garlic pastes and fry for a minute.
Add the onion paste and fry, until the oil separates.
Add the tomato puree along with all the powders and stir well.
Add salt and sugar and simmer for 5 mins.
Drop in the paneer cubes gently, without breaking it.
Simmer for 1 min and take off the heat.
:- Serve hot with a generous swirl of cream on top and fresh hot naan.
