Emergency Dal(Parippu) curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sambhar dal Sambar parippu
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 small Garlic pod mashed
  • 6 - Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook dal upto 1 whistle.
  • :- After cooking, do not drain the water.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry garlic and curry leaves, till garlic turns slighly golden.
  • Add salt to taste and chilly powder.
  • Pour the fried ingredients into the cooked dal and gently stir.
  • :- Serve hot.
