Boil the prawns along with 1/2 tsp salt and water. Strain the water and set aside.
Grind together the green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander into a smooth paste.
Apply the ground paste along with the red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt onto the prawns.
Mix together gram flour, chilly powder, turmeric and salt to make a thick paste.
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Dip the prawns one by one into the batter.
Deep fry, till golden brown.
