Prawn Pakora Prawn(Chemmeen) pakodas - can be used as a starter 12 - Prawns (medium sized, Chemmeen)3 nos Green chillies1" piece Ginger3 - Garlic pods1/4 cup Coriander leavesRed chilly powder (As reqd)Turmeric powder (A pinch)Garam masala powder (As reqd)Salt (As reqd)Gram flour (As reqd, Kadalapodi)Oil for deep frying Boil the prawns along with 1/2 tsp salt and water. Strain the water and set aside.Grind together the green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander into a smooth paste.Apply the ground paste along with the red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt onto the prawns.Mix together gram flour, chilly powder, turmeric and salt to make a thick paste.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Dip the prawns one by one into the batter.Deep fry, till golden brown.:- Serve hot.
