Masala Upma

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Semolina Rava/Sooji
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • 2 nos Onions chopped
  • 1/2 of Tomato chopped
  • 1/2 of Capsicum chopped
  • 2 nos Green chillies slit
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger finely chopped
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Masala Upma, heat ghee in a pan.
  • Fry semolina or rava and keep it aside.
  • Again heat some more oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and when they crackle, add curry leaves, onions, green chillies, ginger and stir fry for sometime.
  • Add capsicum followed by tomato pieces and fry well.
  • Remove pan from fire, add water and allow water to boil.
  • Add salt and slowly stir in semolina to the boiling water. Mix very well in low flame.
  • Rava Upma, a delicious breakfast dish is ready. Serve with Egg Burgi.
