Clean and cut the fish into large pieces.
Cook with 1/2 cup of water, salt, vinegar and turmeric until it is completely dry.
Flake the boiled fish taking care to to take out all the bones and skin.
Heat oil in a pan.
Season with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Make a paste of onion and green chillies.
Add the above paste and ginger paste and fry well.
When the mixture becomes brown, add the flaked fish and coconut.
Fry stirring all the time till the mixture turns golden brown.
Add chopped coriander leaves.
:- Serve hot with rice.
