Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 nos Lady`s finger Vendakka
  • 1 cup Yoghurt/Curd
  • 1/2 cup Freshly grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • For seasoning:
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • 2 nos Red chillies

Instructions
 

  • Cut okra or lady`s finger into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add all the ingredients for the seasoning.
  • Add cut okra and fry for few minutes. Do not cover the vessel.
  • Lower the flame and fry till it is cooked.
  • :- You can add little amchoor powder or yoghurt to remove the stickiness.
  • Turn off the heat and let it cool.
  • Grind grated coconut and turmeric powder by adding desired water.
  • Mix yoghurt, ground coconut and fried okra along with salt.
  • :- Serve with plain white rice or pulao.
