Make a paste of ginger, garlic, cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms, cashews and almonds.
Heat oil in a big vessel.
Add the chopped onions and fry until they turn golden.
Add the ground masala and fry well.
While frying this paste, add 3-4 tbsp of water(You will notice that oil floats on top).
Add yoghurt and the chicken.
Add salt, turmeric, and chilly powder. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add coconut milk and cook till done.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
