Clean the chicken pieces in running water and drain all the water.
Add soya sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar and ajinomoto.
Mix well and marinate for 3-4 hours.
In a broad pan, heat oil.
Add the cashew nuts and roast them lightly.
Remove from fire and keep aside.
In the same oil, add chopped red chillies, garlic and finely chopped spring onions and saute`.
Add the marinated chicken.
Sprinkle chilly powder and fry until water evaporates.
Add corn flour mixed in a little water and the fried cashew nuts.
Cover and cook till done.
