Instructions
Separate the leaves from stem and wash them thoroughly.
Chop them finely and keep them aside.
Soak tamarind in water.
Wash red gram dal and put it in a pressure cooker along with chopped thotakoora leaves and cook for 20 mins(3 - 4 whistles).
Heat oil in a pan and add all the ingredients of seasoning. Fry them for a few minutes till the black gram turn into light brown.
Then add the cooked dal mixture into it and mix well.
Add tamarind pulp and salt to it.
Cook for a few minutes.
Sprinkle curry leaves.
