Soak rice in water for half an hour.
Heat oil in a pan for about 2 minutes. Add aniseeds, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cardamoms & cloves and stir for a few seconds.
Add onions, green chillies, ginger & garlic paste & peas. Stir and fry for about 2 minutes.
Then, add rice and fry till the rice turns opaque(approximately 3 minutes).
Add salt & water and stir it.
Allow peas pulao to cook.
Finally, garnish the peas pulao with coriander leaves.
