Peas Pulao Peas Pulao recipe 2 cups Basmati rice1 cup Green PeasGinger (garlic paste - 2 tsp)3 cups Water1 tsp Aniseeds (Perinjeerakam)2 nos Cinnamom (Karugapatta)5 nos Cloves (Grambu)2 nos Bay leaves (Karuga ela)4 nos Cardamoms (Elakka)1 no Onion (chopped)2 nos Green chillies7 tbsp Vegetable oil or GheeCoriander leaves (As reqd)Salt (As reqd) Soak rice in water for half an hour. Heat oil in a pan for about 2 minutes. Add aniseeds, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cardamoms & cloves and stir for a few seconds. Add onions, green chillies, ginger & garlic paste & peas. Stir and fry for about 2 minutes. Then, add rice and fry till the rice turns opaque(approximately 3 minutes).Add salt & water and stir it.Allow peas pulao to cook.Finally, garnish the peas pulao with coriander leaves.:- serve peas pulao hot.
