Tandoori Roti - Tandoori Roti

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • Butter As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Mix salt & ghee with the flour & rub well with your fingertips.
  • Make a dough with water & knead well to a soft pliable dough and keep it aside for half an hour.
  • Divide the dough into equal balls.
  • Flatten each ball between the palms of the hands into a roti.
  • Moisten one hand & stick the roti on to the wall of a hot tandoor or gas tandoor.
  • Remove it with gloved hands when brown spots appear on the roti.
  • Apply ghee or butter on them and serve hot.
