Pazham Pori And Beef Roast

Ingredients
  

Beef Roast

  • 1 Kg Beef
  • 2 Tbsp Ginger garlic Crushed
  • 1 Cup Onion Sliced
  • 1 Cup Shallots Chopped
  • 2 Nos. Tomato
  • 3 Nos. Green chilly
  • 1 Tsp Fennel seed powder
  • 1 Tsp Garam masala
  • 1 Tbsp Pepper powder
  • 2 Tbsp Coriander powder
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • Salt as required
  • Curry leaves One hand full

Pazham pori

  • 4 or 5 Nos. Ripe banana
  • 3 Cup All purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Pinch Turmeric powder
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • Water for mixing
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • First we cut and clean the beef into cube shaped pieces. Pressure cook the beef by adding pepper, salt and water as required.
  • Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan and add few curry leaves, shallots and sliced onion. Saute till they change color to light brown.
  • Add crushed ginger garlic and saute for another 4-5 minutes.
  • Then add chopped tomato and saute for some more minutes till the tomatoes are softened.
  • Now add all remaining powderd masala ingredients - fennel seed powder, garam masala and coriander powder.
  • Saute for 1 minute till the raw smell goes off.
  • Finally add the cooked beef along with that water.
  • Mix well and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or till it becomes a thick gravy.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the flame. Keep the Beef Roast aside.
  • First we peel off the ripe bananas. Then we slice the banana horizontally and keep aside. Take a large bowl, combine all purpose flour, sugar, turmeric powder and salt. Stir well to combine. Add little water at a time and make a thick batter. Heat oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, dip the banana slices in the batter until well coated and carefully slide into the hot oil. Deep fry both sides till it is golden brown and crisp. Drain the excess oil.
  • Serve and enjoy Beef Roast with Banana Fritters.
