Coconut Chutney With No Grinding | Thenga Ulli Chammanthi

Coconut Chutney With No Grinding is appreciated for its simplicity and the absence of the traditional grinding process.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ Cup Grated coconut
  • 1 No. Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp Chilly powder
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 3 Nos. Dry red chillies
  • Few Curry leaves
  • As reqd Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take grated coconut and chopped onion together in a bowl.
  • Add chilly powder and salt as required.
  • Mix well with your hand so it is partially crushed.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Then add curry leaves and dried red chillies.
  • Add prepared onion coconut mix.
  • Stir and combine well. Saute for 2 minutes and remove from the flame.
  • Once done, transfer the Coconut Chutney(Thenga Ulli Chammanthi) into a serving bowl and serve.
