- 1 Kg Chicken Cut into small pieces
- 1 Tsp Lime juice
- 1 Tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1 Tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 3 Nos. Onion Sliced
- 2 Nos. Tomato Chopped
- 3 No. Green chilli
- 1 Piece Ginger Small, crushed
- 1 Pod Garlic Crushed
- 4 Tbsp Coconut oil
- Curry leaves Few
- 1/2 Tsp Garam masala
- Salt As reqd
Marinate the chicken in a mixture of chilli powder, kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, garam masala and salt as required.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken to a golden brown color.
When both sides of chicken is well fried, stir in chopped onion into the pan.
Add chopped tomato, sliced green chilly and crushed ginger garlic.
Mix well and cook covered with a lid, in low heat. Open and stir frequently. Keep the flame low to medium.
When the onion and tomato become smooth and well combined, finally add some curry leaves and turn off the flame.
Delicious Velvet Chicken Roast is ready now.
