Wash the chicken pieces and cut them to small pieces.
Heat a pressure cooker add coconut oil, when oil is hot, add bay leaves, pepper corns, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
When it splutters, add ginger and garlic, sauté for few seconds.
Add onion, green chilies, curry leaves and salt , sauté nicely.
When onion turns soft and transparent add chicken and potato, mix well.
Add pepper powder and garam masala , sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add semi thin coconut milk and salt , mix well..
When stew is starts to boil, cover the pressure cooker for 2 whistle on medium flame.
Switch off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally.
When the pressure is fully released, open the cover and heat on .
Chicken stew is cooked completely, using a ladle mash a few potato pieces so that the gravy becomes thicker.
Now add one cup of thick coconut milk and stir well.
When stew is about to boil , turn off the heat.
Lastly drizzle a tsp of coconut oil and garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves.
