Malabar Special Chicken Fry | Malabar Kozhi Porichathu

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Chicken
  • 2 Tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 Tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 Tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tsp Garam masala
  • 7 No. Green chilly
  • 1 Tbp Chopped ginger
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped garlic
  • Salt As required
  • Oil For frying
  • Curry leaves In a good amount for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • For preparing the dish, first clean chicken and cut into small pieces.
  • Marinate chicken pieces with a mixture of salt, lemon juice, corn flour, garam masala, red chilly powder and turmeric powder. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces to a brown colour. Once the chicken is done remove from oil and keep aside.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add chopped ginger and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes.
  • Then add green chillies and curry leaves, saute for few seconds.
  • Finally add fried chicken and mix well. Remove it from flame.
  • Serve Malabar Chicken Fry hot.
