Pidi Kara Kozhukattai

this is a good snack for evening.

Ingredients
  

  • rice batter 1 bowl
  • onion 2
  • red chilli 2
  • green chilli 2
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  • curry leaves 1/4 cup
  • oil 4 tsp
  • mustard 1 tsp
  • broken urad dal 1 tsp
  • bengal gram 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • chop the onion, green chilli, red chilli, curry leaves and coriander leaves
  • in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and bengal gram
  • add green chilli, red chiili, and onion and saute it
  • add salt and rice batter and mix well
  • allow to boil for few mins in medium flame
  • once boiled, add curry leaves and coriander leave and mix it
  • from a rice batter mix, make shape like pidi kozhukattai
  • keep the kozhukattai in a steamer and boil it for 15 mins
  • now pidi kara kozhukattai ready to serve. serve with coconut chutney and sambar
