Payam (banana) Nirachath (Step By Step Photos)
Malabar recipe which can be served as an evening snack, especially during ramzan.

- 1 kg Banana
- 1 Coconut
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Pure ghee
- Raisins, cashew nut as required
- 1/2 cup Flour
- Water as required
- Oil to fry
Heat ghee in a vessel.
SautT raisins and cashew nut (if required) in ghee. Keep it aside.
In the same ghee fry coconut and sugar till the coconut turns light brown in colour. Mix the raisins in it. Keep it aside.
Peel the bananas and give 3 vertical cuts on the bananas.
Fill the coconut mixture in these cuts.
Mix some water with flour to make a paste.
Apply it on the banana to close the filling.
Heat oil in a kadai.
Fry the filled bananas in oil.
Serve it sliced.
