Microwave Corn Kuruma Vegetables

Microwave corn kuruma with vegetables is a highly nutritious dish prepared by cooking corn kernals with onion, tomato and other ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Corn
  • ¼ cup Cashew soaked
  • ½ cup Curd beaten
  • 1 no Onion finely chopped
  • 1 no Potato cubed
  • 1 no Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 no Green chilly chopped
  • ½ tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • ½ tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1 no Cardamoms
  • 1 tsp Poppy seeds Kaskas
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Sugar A pinch
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • For preparing microwave corn kuruma/korma, cook the corn with potato for 5 minutes in a large microwave safe bowl.
  • Soak kaskas in 1 tbsp of water and grind well. Keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add the ginger garlic paste. Saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add chopped onion. When the onion become trasparent add chopped tomato and green chilly. Fry well. 3)Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, sugar and kaskas paste. SautT well.
  • Now add beaten curd and combine well. Masala for corn kuruma/korma, microwave is ready.
  • Pour the the masala over the cooked corn and potao. Add the cashewnuts and mix carefully.
  • Place the bowl in a 100% preheated microwave for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander.
