3 nos Potatoes(large) Boiled 1 no. Onion(large) 2 nos. Green chillies 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 1 no. Tomato Chopped Curry leaves Few 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds 2 tbsp Oil Salt as reqd Water as reqd 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
Heat a pan, add oil. Splutter mustard seeds. Then add onion, ginger and green chillies.
Saute until onion gets soft and light brown in color.
Add turmeric powder and salt. Saute for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomato and saute well until blended.
Crush the cooked potatoes and add into the fried onion mixture.
Mix well.
Pour 1/4 cup water and some curry leaves. Bring it to boil and remove from the flame.
Tasty Poori Masala is ready now.
