Heat a pan and add sugar and water to make a syrup. Add coconut, cardamom powder, cashew nuts, raisins and mix well. Stir continuously in medium heat for 5 minutes and remove from the flame. Now the filling is ready.
Take a bowl and add maida, egg, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
Add enough water and make a smooth batter. The batter should be thinner than the dosa batter.
Heat a non-stick pan and pour a spoon full of batter in the centre. Spread with the back of the spoon to a thin round. Keep on medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
When it is cooked on one side, remove into a plate and place a spoon full of coconut filling on one end of the pancake and roll it.
