Kappa Kai Puzhukk

Kappa kai puzhukk is an awesome Tapioca recipe can be served as the main dish.This is an easy to prepare ,tasty and cheap food.Try this awsome traditional kerala recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Tapioca
  • 250 g Raw banana
  • 1 cup,grated Coconut
  • 3 pc Mackrel
  • 3 Green chilly
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seed
  • 5 Shallots
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Cook tapioca in water with enough turmreric powderi
  • Cook the raw banana with turmeric powder,red chily powder and salt as required.
  • When it is cooked add fish pieces and cook it again for 5 minutes
  • While it is cooking grind coconut,garlic,shallots,green chilly and cumin seed to get a fine paste.
  • Mix cooked kappa with cooked raw banana and add the ground coconut.
  • Mix it with a spoon,when it starts boil turn off the flame.
  • Kappa kai puzhukk is ready to serve.
