Malabar Style Spicy Mince Chicken Fry

Stir fried chicken with ginger, garlic and garam masala to create a flavorful side dish that can be made for gathering. It goes well with chappati, nice pathiri etc.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken Marinate the chicken pieces in a mixture of chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and deep fry in hot oil.
  • 3 nos. Onion
  • 2 nos. Tomato
  • 4 nos. Green chilly
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • Coriander leaves little
  • Curry leaves little
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces.
  • Mince the fried chicken pieces into long shreds.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute onion until it becomes light brown in color.
  • Add tomato, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, coriander leaves, garam masala, salt and saute for 5 minutes in low flame.
  • Add minced chicken and combine it well.
  • Add pepper powder and saute for 2 minutes. Turn off the flame.
  • Serve it with chappati.
