Masala Tofu Rice

Tofu is made from soya milk,it is also known as soya curd.we can make delicious recipes from tofu.masala rice is a tasty rice for lunch and dinner.It is a good item for kids lunch box.Tofu has a lot of health benefits.It is rich in calcium ,iron and various nutrients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Basmati rice
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 Onions
  • 4 Green chilies
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1 Tomato

Instructions
 

  • Add rice and water in micro wave dish and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Now rice is cooked keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai add cumin seeds saute for a minute.
  • Add onions ,red chilies and ginger garlic paste saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add chili powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder ,salt and cumin powder saute for a minute.
  • Add capsicm and saute for a minute.
  • Add tomatoes and gram masala and stir for a minute.
  • Add tofu and coriander leaves and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add cooked rice to this and mix well.Cook for 2 minutes in stove.
  • Now masala tofu rice is ready,it goes well with raithaor curd
