Bottle Gourd Cowpea Gravy
This is a very auethentic curry made with a different combination of bottle gourds and cowpeas.this curry is very often made in south side which is commonly accompanied with white rice.

bottle gourds chopped 2 cups cow pea cooked 1 cup fenu greek 1/2 sp jeera 1/2 sp mustard 1/2 sp curry leafs few garlic 4 cloves baby onions 1/2 cup tomatoes 1 no grated coconut 1 cup tamarind paste thick 2 sp salt
saute all the seasoning in oil
add bottle gourds
add tomatoes
grind coconut with curry leaves, jeer and 2 sp of cooked cow peas
add the ground paste and put chilli powder and dania powder.
when boils add tamarind paste and salt
add cooked cowpeas andsimmer for 5 mins and serve
