Areeram

This is a traditional nadan snack sweet variety. This is prepared with rice flour and jaggery. As jaggery is used, it is good for health.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Rice flour
  • 200 g Jaggery
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Oil as required

Instructions
 

  • Melt jaggery with water as required
  • Mix rice flour with melted jaggery, cumin and salt to make smooth dough.
  • Make small balls out of it
  • Heat oil in a vessel and fry it till brown color.
  • Serve it.
