Sweet Potato Jamun

Gulab jamun is an Indian dessert dish that can be made in various ways. One such variation is to use sweet potatoes, to give a lovely texture and a little vitamin C. its easy and simple to do.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Boiled Sweet potato
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • Salt pinch
  • 1 tbsp Maida
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • Cardamom powder little

Instructions
 

  • Mash sweet potato and keep aside
  • Now add ghee mix well
  • Now add salt and maida mix and make soft dough
  • Now in heavy bottom vessels add sugar and water and cardamom powder bring to boil and make syrup
  • Now in other pan add oil and heat well. in mean time make small balls of dough and keep aside
  • Now drop four in oil and make sure its should not burn . Fry it till it becomes golden brown
  • Now Soak in sugar syrup and leave for 15 minutes and transfer to other bowl
  • Now its ready to serve
