boil the Field bean in a pressure cooker by adding salt and water and allow for 2 whistle
chop the onion and red chili
chop the brinjal
in pan heat the oil and castor oil and add onion red chili and saute it until the onion turn into brown
add chopped tomato and mix well
add brinjal, mix well and allow to cook for 5 minutes in medium flame
add turmeric , sambar powder and salt and mix well
add tamarind water and mix well and allow to cook for 5 minutes
add mochai kottai / field bean and mix well and add required water for gravy and allow to cook for 2 minutes
add coconut and allow to cook for 10 minutes in medium flame until it becomes gravy consistency
now heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and curry leaves
transfer into the gravy
now mochai kottai / field bean puli kuzhambu is ready
