Rasam

Its a commonly used dish in sadya

Ingredients
  

  • tomato 4
  • garlic 4 cloves
  • dried red chilly 3
  • mustard 2 tsp
  • curry leaves 2 sprig
  • oil as needed
  • tamarind water 1 cup
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves 1 sprig
  • rasam powder 1 table spoon

Instructions
 

  • cook tomato by adding little water and salt
  • close the kadai
  • make a solution of tamarind using water
  • add the tamarind water to the cooked tomatao
  • add rasam mix or powder to it .
  • heat another pan and add oil. when it hot then add mustard and when it splutters add curry leaves ,dried red chilly and garlic and cumin seeds to it.
  • add the mustard mix to the kadai
  • stir well and add coriander leaves
  • our rasam is ready to serve.
