wash and soak the wheat rice in water for 1/2 hour
chop the onion. red chili , green chili and carrot
in a cooker heat the oil and ghee and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and bengal gram
add onion, red chili and green chili, mint leaves and saute it until the onion turn into brown
add chopped tomato and mix well
add ginger garlic paste and mix well
add turmeric powder, sambar masala and salt and mix well
add carrot and mix it and allow to cook for 5 mins
now add water for 200 gm wheat rice add 500 gram water and allow to boil ( 1:2.5 ratio)
once the water boiled add soaked wheat rice and mix well, after two mins keep in pressure and allow for 1 whistle
now wheat rice briyani is ready, garnish with coriander leaves and cashews. serve with chutney
