In a pressure pan add washed mutton and turmeric, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp oil and cook upto 3 whistles until cooked.
In a mixer add shallots, ginger, garlic, green chilies and grind coarsely.
Now add few mint leaves and make a fine paste.
In a pan add oil and ghee.
Now add whole spices and temper.
Next add onion and fry till golden brown in color.
Now add remaining mint and coriander leaves and saute.
Now add ground paste and cook till raw smell goes.
Next add tomato and saute till soft.
Now add all powders and salt as required.
Add cooked mutton and mix well.
Now add curd, cook well and add remaining water.
When water boils, add rice and close pan and cook for 10 mins in low flame. The delicious biriyani is done.
