this recipe is famous in salem zone. this is easy and quick recipe as desserts . we usually do this in breakfast.my grand ma is familiar with this recipe.

2 cup Rice flour 1/4 cup Moong dal 3 cup Jaggerry 1 cup Coconut grated / chopped 3 tblsp Ghee 4 cup Water 1 tsp cardamom powder white cloth with wet
In big vessel mix both Rice flour and water and boil
when it comes thick paste add boiled moong dal and coconut
Now add jaggerry syrup and mix well and cook in low flame
Now add ghee and mix it well
Now add cardamom paowder and combine . cook for 5 mins and trun off
take white wet cloth and spread it on the table/ floor
Take allapittu with spoon / ladle pour in that cloth and allow to cool for 20 mins.
Remove and serve . Allapittu is ready.
