Kuthi Ozhicha Mutta ( Egg ) Curry

Nadan Egg Curry Without Boiling The Eggs.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Egg
  • 2 nos Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger / Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Fennel powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 2 no Green chilly
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 / Coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, ginger / garlic paste and sauté them well.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, fennel powder, Garam masala powder and stir well.
  • Add finely chopped tomato , green chilly, curry leaves and mix them well.
  • Add 1/2 cup of hot water , salt into the pan and mix it.When the gravy starts to boil, break each egg and pour it into the gravy . Close the pan with a lid and allow the eggs to cook well.
  • Add coconut milk into the curry and when it starts to boil switch off the flame.
  • Kuthi ozhicha mutta curry is ready.Serve hot with chapati, appam, puris or idiappam.
