Surnali Dosa

Sornali is a konkani version of pan cakes, it is a sweet DOSA prepared usually for breakfast,

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Rice pachari
  • 1/2 cup Rice flakes
  • 1/4 cup Curd Moru
  • 1/4 cup Grated coconut
  • Grated jaggery one lemon size
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • Ghee / butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Soak rice and fenugreek seeds for 5-6 hours. Then grind all ingredients except green chilly to a smooth paste.
  • Ferment for 8 hours. Add chopped green chilly and mix well.Heat a non stick pan.Smear ghee to pan. Pour one ladle full of batter.Do not spread.
  • Cover and cook on a low flame till golden brown on one side only.Serve hot .
  • It is too tasty with red chilly chutney.
