Instructions
Wash the broccoli crown drain and chop into small florets. Wash, drain and chop the chauli leaf [red cheera], chop onion, crush garlic,chop ginger and keep ready.
Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion, slitted green chilli .Saute 2- minutes till the onion turns translucent. Add crushed [minced] garlic,chopped ginger and saute for few seconds.
Add chopped broccoli, salt and saute well. Now add chopped red chauli leaf, powdered masala and turmeric powder.
Add tomato puree [grind 2 tomato] saute and add some water, covered and cook in a low flame till florets turn soft and tender. Do not overcook, should retain the green colour.
Lastly add finely chopped coriander leaf and serve with chapati or bread.
Notes
Adjust chilli powder salt and masalas in your taste. We can add little sugar to taste. In my recipe, over cooked the broccoli for some reason
