Deep Fried Crispy Mandeli

Ingredients
  

  • 25 nos Mandeli fish : 20
  • Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
  • Rice flour : 3 tsp
  • Salt : to taste
  • Oil : for frying

Instructions
 

  • Wash and clean the fish. Remove the head, the tail and the scales.
  • Marinate the fish with turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt and keep aside for 30 - 40 minutes.

  • Add the rice flour to the marinated fish and coat well.
  • Enter Step
  • Heat oil in a pan till it is very hot - almost smoking.
  • Fry the mandeli in batches of 10 - 12 fish at a time.
  • Fry on both sides till golden brown and crispy.
