  1. Wash and clean the fish. Remove the head, the tail and the scales.

  2. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt and keep aside for 30 - 40 minutes.

  4. Add the rice flour to the marinated fish and coat well.

  7. Fry the mandeli in batches of 10 - 12 fish at a time.
