Thenga Aracha Parippu Curry

Ingredients
  

  • Lentils : 1 cup
  • Coconut : ½ cup
  • Green chilly : 4 nos
  • Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • Shallots : 8 nos
  • Mustard : 2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Soak lentils in water for 4 to 5 hours.
  • Cook lentils using salt and turmeric powder.
  • Enter Step
  • Grind coconut and green chilly using a mixer.
  • To the cooked lentils add this grinded matter.
  • Stir it well, then heat a pan add oil in it and add mustard when it gets hot.
  • When it splutters add shallots to it and sauté it well.
  • Pour this to the lentils.
  • Stir well .
  • Transfer to the serving dish.
